Hello everyone! Melissa here back again with one of our Tuesday how to videos.
One of the best ways to carry your baby is on your back! This is perfect for times when you’ll be using your hands a lot, such as grocery shopping! Your baby will be comfortable and safe on your back when riding in the new Beco Soleil Baby Carrier. Watch my video for more information.
Beco Soleil Back Carry Position
In order to carry your child on your back in this baby carrier, the first thing you’ll have to do is prep your shoulder straps, in a backpack-like position. Once they’re ready, buckle the waistband around your hips with the carrier in the back. Now you can take your baby and place him on your hips so he’s in a good side-squat position. Move him slowly along your side onto your back and begin smoothing the carrier over your baby. Grab the arm straps one at a time and adjust them accordingly. A great addition to the Soleil is the shoulder strap adjustability, so you should make sure these are tight as well. Watch for further instructions on taking your baby out of the back carrying position!
Back carries with the Beco Soleil are very easy and comfortable for the two of you! Thanks again for watching!
