Beco Gemini – How to Back Carry
- September 29, 2015

Hello moms and dads!
This video marks my final video in my series on the Beco Gemini. I’ll be giving you a step-by-step guide to back carrying with the Beco Gemini. Let’s get started!
Back Carrying the the Beco Gemini
The first thing you’ll have to make sure of before you even grab your baby is that the snaps on the carrier are in the wider position. Also, you’ll have to snap the arm straps in place already, like on a backpack. Next, take your baby and place him or her on your hip. While still supporting your baby’s head and neck, move them toward the middle of your baby.Make yourself into a tabletop position to make it easier for you. When they’re comfortable on your back, spread their legs so they can stick out of the carrier.
Smooth the carrier over your baby, buckle in the straps, tighten if necessary, and you’re good to go!
You should be comfortable enough to be hands-free, and your baby’s weight should be distributed nicely in the carrier. Watch my video for more details on how to get your baby in and out of the carrier!
Did you use your baby carrier to back carry? Comment below. I’d love to hear from you!b
