I can relate! This is so funny because as practical and usually unemotional I can be, those moments you talk about make me lose it too. My 5 year old just finished preschool and I was a mess when it was time to say goodbyel
These moments ARE milestones and do remind me how precious moments because little ones “grow up so fast” (as all those annoying older moms will tell me. Now I’m becoming one.)
I also cry during hallmark commercials around Mothers Day. Just went and saw the movie Brave with my girls and totally teared up at the end (a mother/daughter scene). Thank goodness I had my sunglasses so when the move was over I quickly put them on. Here’s a good tip, prescription sunglasses are a great way to hide the ugly red blotches around your eyes!

Thanks for the tip — I definitely get those splotchy eyes too! I also carry a little make-up in my bag when I remember for quick fix-ups!
