So that wraps it up, mamas and papas. All great choices, each satisfying different needs. I can’t resist parlaying my joke after having seen five babies through the infant stage, though. With Baby #1: monitor on day and night, rush to baby at any sound; baby #2, monitor on during the night, respond to loud crying; baby #3, monitor turned off by and angry slap of the hand during the nighttime; baby #4, monitor broken and not replaced, baby’s door closed; baby #5, no monitor, door closed, pillow over head.
