Hi friends. I fell in love with this blue gold dress at Michael Kors a few weeks back in Barcelona. I’m a big believer in trying new things. When you switch things up, life gains zest. You break out of ruts. You gain energy and the world seems fun. Clothes are a great way to do this. Whether it be a new style of dress, shorts, or even a new t-shirt, switch it up and swap it out, mamas.

Part of the off-the-shoulder trend, this dress offers a pretty pattern of navy blue and yellow gold. It’s dressy enough to go very fancy but can be worn during the day with flat sandals, such as my gladiator‘s here.First stop, coffee with my dear friend Nathalie who is a teacher in Paris. She attended our wedding years back in the U.S., coming with her children. 25 years after we met, we’re just as close and love talking about friends, our children, human relationships and Philosophy, which we both studied. She’s one of my smartest friends!Next up, dinner with my good friend Nigel who I met in England also 25 years ago. Nigel’s now at attorney in Syndey Australia! What a delight to see him over a yummy dinner with Marc. Nigel’s got a son he’s madly in love with. We spoke about fatherhood, work, and travel. A wonderful night.Marc and I walked back home after a magical day through the streets of Paris. I had swapped my gladiators for a pair of high-heeled Karen Millen sandals that I bought on sale for $50. A good deal since they are so comfortable!Thanks for reading my fashion post!
