My 5 New Year’s Resolutions

Hi there mamas and papas. Happy New Year to you all. Can’t believe another year has rolled by and here I am making my New Year’s Resolutions for 2017.
Got a New Year’s Resolution List? Please share below! I’d love to see it and get inspired.
I try to make New Year’s Resolutions each year in addition to many daily and weekly resolutions to keep me focused on being the best mom and person I can be. So often, I fall short. But I do get up each day thinking about what I can do better. Trying to be better motivates me as a person, and saves me from falling into ruts and personal lows when you’re not sure what to aim for. I love the sense of the New Year and looking forward to time better spent with family and friends and pursing important goals.
So, with all that being said, drumroll please … Here are my 5 New Years Resolutions for 2017:
- Stop bickering with my husband. I love my sweetie more than words can ever say, and overall I think we make a fantastic team and still deeply enjoy the romantic side of dinners and movies and all the rest (!), but with Marc looking for work this year and two older boys drenched with homework in Middle School — oh, and add to that four travel soccer teams – we fallen into some bickering this year. We don’t bicker all the time, but it does happen more than I would like so my first resolution is to draw the marital bickering to a halt. Onwards!
- More time with family and friends. In addition to being blessed with two active, healthy, fun and supportive parents, I have three amazing siblings, many cousins, and of course Marc’s wonderful mom and family. Add to that old friends who I don’t want to lose touch with, and new friends who can make your heart soar. Nothing better than meeting someone for lunch or a coffee and feeling as if you can really connect. This year I’m determined to focus on spending more quality time together with family and friends.

Sending much love to your and your family, and best wishes for a wonderful New Year.
