WW 58: Brothers and Sisters

Hello everyone.  This week began with Annaliese’s receipt of her brownie sash!  Now, on to the medals.

Here in NYC, we’re in an in-between kind of moment weather wise.  It’s amazingly warm for March, but some of us haven’t done the switch-over from winter to spring clothes.  Thus, I’ve been sporting a combination of Onzie yoga pants, which are light yet warm, with boots, and lighter coats.

One of the fun things about having a bunch of kids is seeing how they do when you change up the composition.  For us, the two youngest — Annaliese and Marielle — usually spend loads of time together while the three oldest — Hedley, Lachlan and Beckett — are off at soccer, basketball or other bigger kid endeavors. This past week, I found myself with Marielle and Beckett and we went round to our favorite Swedish coffee shop for some special treats.

I loved seeing them enjoy the Swedish cardamon buns I grew up on.

Yum yum yum they gobbled them right up.

And shared a few laughs all the while.

So that’s about it from our neck of the woods.  This week we’re off to ski in France so you’ll be seeing some pictures from the Alps along with our regular fare, including two new videos in which I’m answering viewers questions.

Thanks so much for reading and don’t forget to enter our weekly giveaway below.

I remember being a Brownie. I was so excited when I got my sash. Your daughter’s photo reminds me of so very long ago, I wore the same uniform for many years. I wore shorts under mine with knee socks because I was a bit of a tom boy.

I grew up as an only child. I have a half sister but she was born when I was 18, so unfortunately we are not very close.
