Heads up, everyone…another baby products recall you should look out for!
The Consumer Product Safety Commission announced a baby pacifier recall of 119,000 CareBears pacifiers due to a choking hazard. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported, but the pacifiers do not meet federal safety standards because the nipple can separate from the base.
The pacifiers were sold at discount and dollar stores, children’s apparel retailers, Walmart Puerto Rico and Consolidated Stores nationwide between Oct. 2009 through June 2012 for about $1. If you have these pacifiers, the CPSC says to throw them away and contact IDM Group collect at 212-686-5221 or www.pacifierrecall.net for a full refund.
