This post is brought to you by Onzie Yogawear.
Hello mamas and papas and welcome back to another CloudMom fashion post. Today I’m modeling one of my favorite outfits from Onzie Yogawear. This comfortable bra and capri pant are staples of mine, accompanying me to my hot yoga classes at my favorite local studio. I love the plum color of the bra and the sunset theme of the pants.
Twisting Lunge Yoga Pose
Part of the vinyasa series of yoga poses, the Twisting Lunge Yoga Pose usually follows downward dog. Step your right foot forward between your hands and straighten your other leg. Extend your right arm yards toward the sky and glance upwards. Twist open your upper back and lower back.
Twisting Lunge Benefits
This restorative pose strengthens your quads, arms, back and even your neck; the twisting lunge works multiple muscles in your body simultaneously. Make sure to suck in your belly and that will get stronger too.Parenting is a journey. Sometimes we try too earnestly to “fix” things, not willing to accept that bumps in the road are inevitable. When one child feels like he is slipping through my fingers, eluding me — when I feel I can’t communicate with that child effectively — I try to let things go a bit. I turn, twist, pivot towards something else, another child or a project. My intention is not to ignore the first child, but rather to give him some space and to breathe some air into our relationship. When I twist back, things are usually better. How do you handle a tricky child? How do you keep strong amidst the challenges of leading another person in this world?
