Melissa’s Friday Favorites #19

Hello, dearies! Hope you’ve been enjoying my Friday Finds! There are so many cool things out there for family, kids, and for busy moms like you! This week, I explored baby shower gifts, homemade baby food recipes, and non-toxic toys for my kids!

Friday Finds 19

1. Finding activities for kids that are educational, fun and require minimal materials is like hitting a home run. This activity is perfect for children who are just starting to learn letters. The hunt for objects that start with the letters written in chalk could go on for hours!

2. I’m always on the lookout for new wooden, non-toxic toys for my kids, and I came across this precious pull-along cow toy which is perfect for children who are just learning to walk. My kids would have loved this when they were younger!

3. Ditching store-bought baby food is a little bit easier now thanks to homemade baby food recipes such as this one! You can introduce your baby to all kinds of vegetable by starting with smooth purees and then slowly working them up to trying different textures.

4. This hilarious book is perfect for teaching your children about self-acceptance, and in my opinion, it’s one of the best books of 2014 for kids. If nothing else, the illustrations are beautiful and seem to jump right off of the page!  Just purchased this for Beckett’s 7th birthday on February 1st and can’t wait to give it to him!

5. If you’re on the hunt for baby shower gifts for moms-to-be, look no further. This beauty gift set comes with shampoo, conditioner and body wash with all-natural ingredients such as vanilla, mint and citrus. I can almost imagine how wonderful that smells!
