What to See in Madrid with Kids

Hiya everyone! I’m finally uploading today my video with snapshots of what I did with the boys in Madrid! If you’re into Spain or Real Madrid soccer, also check out my video on our visit to the Real Madrid stadium, Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.
Despite the record temperatures, we managed to pack a lot into our two day trip to Madrid. Our visit started with a wonderful birthday dinner for Lachlan, turning 9 and thrilled with a lemon birthday cake after Iberian Ham. The kids have grown to love traditional Spanish food as have I. Watch the Spanish version of Happy Birthday sung to Lachie in the typical Spanish restaurant we loved.
The next day, tired from a late Spanish dinner, we did our own walking tour of the Bario de Letras, literally the Neighborhood of Letters, where many famous Spanish writers lived, including Cervantes. We went into see Plaza Mayor, and many other sites, concluding our day with churros from Chocolateria San Gines, a famous place well worth the trip.
For more tidbits, check out my video! Oh, and here are some of my other videos from Spain.
Sending love and thanks for watching,
