Many studies and reports have been issued regarding sources of lead exposure for children, but it’s only recently that researchers have started looking into the lead and metals contained in lipsticks and lip glosses . As reported by the New York Times the researches picked the products because they were favorites of teenage girls at a community health center in Oakland, California! These girls reported applying their glosses up to 24 times a day.
