Hi everybody and happy Monday! Today’s vlog is about calcium and pregnancy! I’m finishing up (finally!) the series we’ve been doing on diet during pregnancy, and of course calcium is a very important nutrient that we all need!
Question is: how much calcium do pregnant women need? This show sets forth the recommended levels of calcium in pregnancy and then makes some suggestions for calcium-rich pregnancy foods.

Calcium is one of the most important things to eat while pregnant. You want to make sure you’ve got at least 4 calcium-rich food sources everyday. Along with the calcium you get in your pre-natal vitamin, in total a pregnancy diet should include 1000 mg of calcium a day.
