Free smooches for all 5 of my kiddies are in store! As a mom, I always try to make Valentine’s Day extra special for all my sweeties (hubs included). And I’m not just talking about passing on my love for pink dresses onto my girls, but all the small details. From packing their lunch with heart-shaped sandwiches to creating mosaic red and pink hearts out of paper plates, I’m in loooooooove with Valentine’s Day. And in the spirit of love, here are a few of my favorite items to make this day a little sweeter.

Valentine’s Day for Kids
Romeo & Juliet: A BabyLit Counting Primer: Chosen as one of Parents Magazine’s top 20 children’s books of 2011, this book is a brilliant way to introduce your toddler to classic literature. Baby Lit specializes in fashionable storytelling from classic writers like Jane Austen and William Shakespeare. Jennifer Adams, text-savvy writer, and Sugar’s Alison Oliver, stylish illustrator, recreate vintage stories that every child should have in their nursery with a modern flare.
Burt’s Bees Be My Valentine Gift Tin: A lovely friend of mine is set to have her baby on February 14th, Valentine’s Day! Can’t ask for more love than that! As I was shopping around for a unique baby gift, I stumbled across this adorable Be My Valentine Collection from Burt’s Bees. The simplicity and bee-inspired take allows baby to be extra cute while being manageable to dress at the hospital.
Plum Organics Super Puffs: Strawberry & Beets: For snacks, I try to overindulge on the healthy. Packed with bite-sized love and 100% organic whole grains, real fruit and veggies, these yummy Super Puffs serve up a wide range of nutrients for your growing baby. These Puffs also come in this convenient, lightweight packaging (100% BPA-Free) so it’s easy to tote around. Great organic gifts for new parents!
Color N’ Kids Valentine Cards: Share the love on Valentine’s day with a little green love note. These come with 12 in a pack and are 100% recycled so a great eco-friendly alternative option to the usual Valentine’s Day cards. Personally, I love the idea of bridging sustainable practices with everyday activities for my kids. I believe it helps them to learn and care more about the world around them. Honestly, we love these in my house – kid-tested and mom approved.
Lips Pacifier: I have to admit I chuckled at this when I saw it. Talk about a serious heart-breaker?! This is the ultimate Valentine’s Day gift for your young, hip, new parents that just need a good laugh.
