Hello mama and papa friends! As you may have noticed if you follow my site, I have become increasingly obsessed with baby carriers. Having reviewed a number of wonderful carriers over the past few months, I feel that carriers are such a healthy and manageable way for moms and dads to transport babies… I personally wish I had used them more! Many of the great carriers on the market now simply were not available back in 2004 when I was investing in my stroller for my first baby (which I ended up keeping through five babies) — alas! We can only live once, and only have our babies be little once. But we can continue to look and dream (and review!!). Ha ha…
I am so excited that it is finally Spring. Even though it is raining today, it feels so liberating to walk without boots — ha ha. Also thrilled to be kicking off Spring here at CloudMom with some great new products and giveaways. Crossing my fingers for one lucky winner since the Sakura Bloom Sling Ring is such a fav of mine!
Pin for later!
Now, I know what some of you are probably thinking. This thing looks so complicated! How do I put this together? Well, the sling ring may look very complicated on the outside, but it is actually quite simple to use and I think it looks very stylish and elegant on any mother! Watch my video for more!
How to Wear a Sakura Bloom Sling
When looking at the Sakura Bloom sling, you’ll notice that it’s a large piece of double-side fabric, which comes together with the two rings. The upper portion is called the shoulder, and the loose fabric is called the tail. When you’re wearing the Sakura on your body, depending on whether you’re a lefty or a righty, keep reminding yourself that you should be adjusting the fabric and rings high, near your collarbone. When it comes to actually putting your baby into the carrier, make sure he or she is in a comfortable position against your body, then slowly lower your baby into the kangaroo pouch you’ve prepared for them in the carrier. Once in the pouch, check to see if your baby’s head and neck are being supported by the fabric and that their weight is focused on their bottom, not on their legs. If you would like some extra support for your baby’s neck and head, twist the loose fabric of the tail and tuck this underneath the fabric behind his or her head.
Overall, this is a stylish and easy-to-use carrier for your young baby! It’s so simple to adjust and very convenient when it comes to wearing your baby and nursing in public. Thanks again for watching and check out my other videos on the hottest baby gear!
