WW #121: Travel With Kids in Loire Valley

Growing up with a Swedish mother whose family stayed in Sweden, I was lucky to experience travel abroad from a young age. I’ve been fortunate to be able to do the same with my own kids, bringing them back to Europe to visit family and friends in the summer. Among the places we’ve visited, France’s Loire Valley figures as one of our favorite spots. Rich with culture and natural beauty, it’s a great place to take kids.

For days on end, they played in the garden and did simple things like the swing and the slide. We heard no complaints!loire valley for kidsWhether you’re traveling or home this summer, spending time outdoors with your kids will bring you closer as a family. Take a walk, a hike, or a bike ride. The fresh air and exercise will do all of you some good and the kids will remember the time you spent together.

Happy end of summer.

Traveling abroad at a young age will help shape your children’s world view on people and cultures for the better.

    • That’s one reason why I love travel so much! It really opens your eyes and you definitely see the world through a different lens because of it.

  • Sandy Klocinski
