When busy with the hustle and bustle of caring for your new baby, it is so easy for your other relationships to slip your mind, especially with the spouse! After 11 years of marriage and 5 kids, my husband and I still have that spark in our marriage and we have learned to cherish those rare but precious moments when the kids are sleeping or out of the house. But what happens with friendships outside of your baby, maybe with single women or women who have decided not to have kids? It’s still important to keep these relationships and also create new ones with local moms!
