When you have a new baby, you’ll be changing their clothes a lot because they spit up, poop and pee a lot on their clothes despite your best efforts to contain all this activity in their diaper. So you want to change your baby quickly and without making them more upset than they might already be! My first used to scream when I changed him. I think it was cold and he hated having his clothes taken off. My husband and I would stand there side by side, a baby clothes changing team! When Marc went back to work, I had to fend for myself with this little fussy guy. He would start crying, my blood pressure would rise… and that’s why I learned to get pretty quick at figuring out how to get the clothes on!
To me, the best clothing for new babies are front snap pajamas because they don’t need to go over the head and you can change baby’s clothes while he lies on his back which is more comfortable for a new baby that doesn’t have the strength to lie on his stomach.
In this video, I do a step by step of how to put on newborn baby pajamas that snap up the front.
What strategy did you use for dressing babies? Do you agree with me that the front snap pajama is the way to go? Share your stories below and thanks for watching.
